A research scientist based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
(Or the Bronx, either way it’s not Manhattan)
However, this is not about science at all. This space is slightly more personal, where, for lack of better words- “penne” for my thoughts.
Writing hasn’t been out of the blue. My first published work was in a Navneet 200-page-long book when I was 11 years old. It was a fan fic (complete trash, Farah Khan would have loved it) and according to my one and only reader (you know who you are), it was as entertaining as the movie it was inspired by. I stopped writing for a few years until Toastmasters happened. From what started as writing speeches, it has not stopped until the present. So, no- this is not a mid-life crisis or a coping mechanism. It is quite the opposite. From what I think it is, as one of my favorite quotes says,
“Growing up is all about going back to the hobbies you enjoyed as a child, and not stopping until you die.”
